The ETFE Coupling Guard is manufactured from Teflon coated fibreglass, orange in colour with a wide Centre band of clear film (ETFE). This transparent band permits visual inspection of pipe joints, flow indicators and expansion joints.
The easy to fit lock tight fastening system comprises a Velcro strip, coupled with a braided 100% Teflon draw string. When tightened the fabric is drawn over the flange bolts to the pipe wall thus eliminating a lateral spray out.
The design enables leaks to be released without danger, avoiding pressure-build up within the shield.
